Moka-shi Core Consultation Support Center
Since April 2016, the city has operated the Disability Consultation Support Center, offering support and guidance to people with disabilities and their families.
In April 2018, this service was expanded and relaunched as the Core Consultation Support Center to provide even more comprehensive assistance.
Disability Consultation Support Services
We are here to listen to concerns from people with disabilities and their families, and to work together to find the right support for each individual.
Our services include:
・Information and guidance on available welfare services
・Advice on daily living and community participation
・Support with service applications and coordination with relevant organizations
Core Consultation Support Center Services
As a hub for disability-related consultation in the community, we:
・backup support for consultation staff in the area
・Work with other organizations to build strong support systems
・Help people with disabilities live independently and comfortably in the community
Our activities focus on three key areas:
・Developing People – Organizing training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge
・Building Networks – Creating opportunities for local support providers to connect and collaborate
・Creating Communities – Supporting councils and meetings that address disability welfare and independent living
We at the Core Consultation Support Center aim to connect with local residents, work in partnership with related organizations, and contribute to Moka City’s vision of “A community full of compassion, safety, and mutual support.”
